The Jaysmiles Foundation represents a message of hope and compassion through inspiration. We believe that a single action can make a difference in the community, and that collective action can greatly impact the lives of those living in it.

Funds
Thanks to your generosity and support, the Jaysmiles Foundation has raised over $70,000 to date in 2024; supporting programs already in place and allowing for the creation of new award and recognition opportunities for students, teachers, and faculty support staff.
Monthly awards include: Student of the Month (receives a framed certificate w/backpack full of supplies, games, etc.),
Teacher of the Month (receives a framed certificate w/Talk of the Town gift card and a door sign), Classroom of the Month (receives a framed certificate and door sign along w/Domino’s Pizza or Dippin’ Dots Ice Cream Party).
Annual awards are: Teacher of the Year (receives a framed certificate, weekend stay at luxury resort w/spending credit, premium, reserved parking spot at school for a year and a door sign) and Support Person of the Year (receives Talk of the Town gift card and reserved, personalized parking spot at school for a year).
Additional programs (popcorn & snow cone machines w/supplies, recess kits for every classroom & Fun Grants for unique projects) will continue to be supported along with special recognition moments introduced during the school year.

The Jaysmiles Foundation is currently partnering with seven Elementary Schools with over 220 classrooms and their teachers and reaches more than 4,300 students within the Orange County Public School System. Eagles Nest, John Young, Killarney, Oakshire, Palmetto, and Pinewood Elementary Schools and Kelly Park School are proudly supported by the Jaysmiles Foundation through your generous donations.

Talk of the Town Round Up for Charity Dinner
On May 16, 2024 the Talk of the Town Restaurants hosted a charity dinner benefiting the Jaysmiles Foundation at Charley's Steak House. The event was a huge success and was the culminating event of the month in which restaurant patrons were asked to Round Up their checks for the Jaysmiles Foundation. In all we raised over $57,000 from the sponsorship and had a great time in the process. A check was presented at Massey of Orlando on Tuesday, July 9th. We look forward to repeating this event during the month of May 2025.

Jaysmiles Recess Bags Are Here!
All smiles from Pinewood Elementary Teachers as they received their Jaysmiles Foundation "Recess Bags"! Each Recess Bag contains a Football, Kick Ball, Soccer Ball, Frisbee, and Jump Rope with the sole purpose of enhancing their students daily recess activities. Thank you to all of our Foundation Partners that have helped make this happen!
This Program has been rolled out successfully to all 6 of our adopted Elementary Schools, supporting over 180 Classrooms throughout the Orange County Public School system. Our Recess Bag Program affects over 3800 Students and their Teachers daily, and we will continue to support and replenish this Program for years to come. We are proud to support Pinewood, Kelly Park, Oakshire, Killarney, John Young, and Palmetto Elementary Schools.

The Jaysmiles Foundation evolved from a commitment of support from friends, family, and community partners to manage and build upon the simple successful school recognition programs and collection events that continue to benefit students and their teachers year after year. We have seen through our own actions that sometimes all it takes to change someone's world at that moment is some recognition and an honest smile. We keep things simple by concept, making it easy for our partners to understand their direct impact which is what Jaysmiles is all about.
